Brown Pelicans
We've run into pelicans almost everywhere we've been along the coast. This pair was photographed near Las Glorias, Sinaloa, in Mexico. (2/07)

Brown pelicans catch their prey with a spectacular twisting plunge-dive action. They seem to love flying just above the surf in a storm.
