We left the Cabot Trail at Cape North and turned towards the village of Capstick. Then we had a long a slow 5 mile trip on a rough dirt road to Meat Cove, a tiny settlement marking the most northerly place in Nova Scotia.
The scenery was fabulous, though we wouldn't do this trip in an RV much larger than Clemmie. And we wouldn't recommend travelling the road in the rain; it looked like it could wash out in places.
Don't miss this spot if you can possibly help it. It was a highlight of our trip.
