We made an overnight camping trip into the Santa Elena canyon with Danielle and a river guide, Taz. Being in the canyon as the sun set, and then rose in the morning was fantastic.

The canyon wrens and the rough-winged swallows brought the walls to life. The song of the canyon wren is unforgettably beautiful.
