At the junction between Banff and Jasper National Parks is the Columbia Icefield. Here is the Athabasca Glacier flowing down from the Icefield. It has retreated a long way from the highway since Pat was here 42 years ago. Then, the highway ran right next to it. We were happy to get some good lighting for this shot.
