Interior Alaska
Continuing north on the Alaska Highway, we stopped for breakfast at an overlook to see the Kluane River. This river is part of the humungous Yukon River drainage system. The waters of the Kluane flow north into the Donjek River, then the Nisling, eventually reaching the Yukon. After 300 miles through Canada, the Yukon travels another 2,000 miles through Alaska before dumping its waters into the Bering Sea.
