From Juneau we continued on a week later by ferry to Bellingham, WA. This photo shows our corner of the Malaspina for the 3-day trip. We arrived on September 11. If you read the journal of our travels, you'll find out that we originally had a cabin booked on the Columbia, but after she was withdrawn from service (blew a piston) we felt lucky to find space for Clemmie on the Malaspina, even though there were no available cabins.
