          Bill wrote a commentary voicing his opinions about extension and expansion of the Patriot Act. It seems to us that the Bush administration is marketing fear so as to manipulate a gullible public into giving up its civil liberties, the hallmark of our system of democracy. The essay was converted into a letter and sent to the Washington Post, the White House, and our two Florida Senators and our Representative in the House.
