The Mount School, 1831 -

Pat attended the Mount from 1949 to 1956. This Quaker boarding school in York, England, was established in 1831 and held its 175th anniversary in May, 2006. This coincided with the 50th anniversary of Pat's graduation class. Pat visited the school for the anniversary, the first time since she left to go to college.

Here are pictures of those of Pat's classmates that she remembered to photograph at the celebration, the then headmistress, and the school as it is now. Sadly (for her) not all of Pat's former friends made it to the anniversary event. Click on a thumbnail below to bring up an enlarged picture.
