
We took a walk along the beach road to the Mazatlan Marina. More condominiums lined the dock area, which was filled with sailboats.
Seeing all these sailboats, made us feel a bit homesick, though none of the marinas we found in the Caribbean were this high class. We haven't seen too many spots down Mexico's west coast where a boat could safely hang on the anchor. A distinct disadvantage for cruising this coast. [This comment probably doesn't apply in the Gulf of California.]
Once a sailor, always a sailor.
