Our next stop was historic Alamos, east of Navajoa. The road to Alamos has apparently been dramatically improved.

We stayed 6 nights in Alamos at the Dolisa Trailer Park, within easy walking distance of the town center and market. Here we got a good taste of authentic Mexico and fell into the habit of tortilla eating.
