We found Mexcaltitán (population 2,000) to be a delightful place with colorfully painted houses, narrow streets, and elevated sidewalks to accomodate periodic floods. Nice to find no cars, only pedestrians, bikes, and hand carts. One of the storefronts was a video arcade complete with the usual noisy equipment.
