We started this trip on June 10 in Port Angeles, WA. For our first ferry leg we boarded MV Coho, the privately operated vehicle ferry that runs several times daily between Port Angeles and Victoria, BC, on Vancouver Island. The crossing takes about 90 minutes to travel the 20 miles across the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Here you see Bill and Martha saying goodbye to the mainland of the Olympic Peninsula.
