We got up early at the Argentia Marine Atlantic terminal in time to watch our ferry, the MV Joseph and Clara Smallwood arrive just before sunrise.

We boarded the ferry around 8:00 a.m. to begin the 15-hour trip to North Sydney. Found a place on board to plug in our computers and divided our time between working on the laptops, eating, reading, and sitting in comfy recliners to watch movies in the lounge.
