Next we continued along the west coast of Bonavista Bay. Rejoined the TC Highway at Gambo, stopped in Clarenville, and turned north up the west side of Concepcion Bay to the picturesque village of Brigus, the former seal-hunting capital of Newfoundland. It's shown here.

The town was bustling in preparation for it annual blueberry festival starting next day. We were lucky to find an empty campsite by the river.
