The next day we biked a few miles in the fog to visit Fortress Louisbourg, a kind of Canadian Williamsburg. Very educational, with a pretty good 18th Century lunch in one of the dining rooms. We spent a most enjoyable day at this well done historical monument. Learned a lot.

A downpour in the afternoon did nothing to lift the fog, however.
