On leaving Broad Cove we continued south along the Cabot Trail round Big Smokey mountain to the mouth of the Bras D'Or lakes.

We decided to take the short ferry across to Englishtown, and save ourselves 20 road miles. Oops. We had to remove the bikes on the way off the ferry -- they hung too low on Clemmie's back and bottomed as we started up the ramp. No damage done, however.
