On July 13th we left Halifax and went back along the Trans Canada Highway to cross over into Cape Breton, this time in less of a hurry.
We spent a couple of days at McLeod's Beach near Dunvegan on the west coast of the island. At 8am, a little grey car set itself up in the campground, opened its trunk, and put up a big billboard sign: The West Highland Tea Cruiser. Oatcakes, scones, etc., for the hungry. Made Pat homesick.
