Wood Storks etc.
Waders are often found in mixed species groups. Here 5 avocets, an egret and a stilt are feeding along with the wood storks. We saw this bunch near Mazatlan, Mexico, just before their wetland home was bulldozed into oblivion to make way for tourist development. (2/07)
