The trail became rockier-it reminded us of our hike up Pico Duarte in the Dominican Republic. Today's hike, however, was much shorter (7 miles round trip) with an elevation gain of only(?) 1,200 feet, about twice the height of our climb up Tunnel Mountain. (Scroll down.)
